AccuTite Near Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington, DC

Located in Baltimore, Maryland, Beaux Arts Institute of Plastic Surgery offers AccuTite to residents of Washington, DC, Columbia, MD, and surrounding communities.

What is AccuTite?

AccuTite is specially designed to target aging in small areas that are difficult to reach with our other anti-aging technologies. We recommends AccuTite for facial and body contouring, as well as tissue remodeling to achieve a more youthful appearance. AccuTite works by applying radiofrequency energy to the skin and fat deposits, and this stimulates the production of collagen. It also reduces small fat deposits that affect your appearance.

How is AccuTite Performed?

AccuTite treatments are performed with a local anesthesia to numb the area. A tiny incision is made in your skin, and the AccuTite probe is inserted into the incision. Radiofrequency energy is delivered to the tissues via electrodes on the tip of the probe. The thermal energy triggers your body to produce new collagen, and it also destroys fat cells.

Am I a Good Candidate for AccuTite?

We recommends AccuTite for men and women who have concerns about areas of their faces and bodies that are showing signs of aging. Specifically, the treatment may help with:

  • Loose skin in the neck area
  • Sagging brows
  • Marionette lines
  • Sagging in the upper and lower eyelids
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Sagging skin around the knees, upper arms, and abdominal area
  • Fat in the underarm area
  • Cellulite and fat deposits on the outer and inner thighs
  • Signs of aging on the hands

What are Typical AccuTite Results?

You will need to rest at home for 48 to 72 hours after your AccuTite treatment. The incisions heal quickly, and the scars are not noticeable after approximately one year. The treatment area may feel tender, and you may have some minor bruising and swelling for the first few days. It is also normal to have some tightness after the treatment.

After six to eight weeks, you will see the final results of your AccuTite treatment. Expect to see some gradual improvements for up to one year. The new collagen in your skin may last for several years before you need a follow-up AccuTite treatment.
