FaceTite Near Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington, DC

Located in Baltimore, Maryland, Beaux Arts Institute of Plastic Surgery offers FaceTite to residents of Washington, DC, Columbia, MD, and surrounding communities.

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is an advanced, minimally-invasive anti-aging treatment that targets sagging in the lower portion of your face, including the jawline, chin, and cheeks. The treatment combines precision liposuction and thermal energy to restore facial contours and give you a younger appearance. Facial contouring with FaceTite is achieved by removing excess fat that has shifted with age, as well as radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production. The new collagen gives your skin a support structure and tightens sagging areas.

How is FaceTite Performed?

FaceTite requires a local or topical anesthesia to numb the treatment area. We may also administer a mild sedative to help you stay relaxed. Small incisions are made in your skin, and a thin tube with electrodes is inserted through each incision. The electrodes emit radiofrequency energy that destroys fat cells and stimulates collagen production. The fat cells are suctioned out through the tube. The incisions are small enough that sutures are not needed. The procedure does produce some scarring on your skin, but the scars are only noticeable upon very close inspection.

Am I a Good Candidate for FaceTite?

We recommends FaceTite treatments for men and women who want to achieve a younger appearance without facial plastic surgery. It is also ideal for patients who prefer not to receive general anesthesia. Dr. Banks determines if FaceTite or one of our other non-surgical treatments is a good option for you during the consultation appointment.

What are Typical FaceTite Results?

Your face may be covered with a compression bandage for the first few days. This helps to hold the tissues in place and minimize swelling and bruising. Expect to rest at home for the first 24 to 48 hours. Once the compression bandage is removed, you will notice that your skin looks smoother and tighter. You may also see a significant improvement in the contours of your face. Full results from a FaceTite treatment does take some time, as collagen gradually develops in the skin. Expect full results after several months. Your body will continue to break down collagen, but the results of a FaceTite treatment may last for several years.

What are FaceTite Costs?

The cost of FaceTite treatments varies based on the degree of correction, size of the treatment area, and other factors. If you would like to know more about FaceTite treatments, including the cost, contact us to schedule a consultation with Dr. Banks. She will determine if the treatment is your best option, outline a treatment plan, and review the associated costs.
