What is a Brow Lift?
Are you unhappy with deep creases in your forehead region? If so, a brow lift is a surgical solution that can rid your face of these expression lines and other signs of aging. Also known as a forehead lift, a brow lift minimizes the creases that develop across the forehead and on the bridge of the nose between the eyes. It also works to reposition a sagging brow that is hooding the upper eyelid, raising the eyebrows to naturally alert and youthful position.
Dr. Banks is an experienced plastic surgeon who promises nothing but the most natural results, as you can see in our brow lift before and after pictures. Please give us a call today if you’d like to set up a consultation for this surgery, if you’d like to learn more about brow lift prices, or if you have any additional questions.
How is a Brow Lift Performed?
Brow lifts are performed right here in our facility using general anesthesia. The entire procedure takes around 30 to 90 minutes. Your surgeon will begin with an incision above the ears, either in front of or behind the hairline. She will then remove excess skin and any wrinkle-causing muscles, and lift your eyebrows to a more youthful position.
How Do I Know if a Brow Lift is Right for Me?
Most brow lift patients that we see are between 40 and 70 years old, but this procedure can also be performed on younger adults who are unhappy with the signs of aging in their forehead region. The best candidates are those with good skin tone and elasticity. Often times, brow lifts are performed in conjunction with other facial procedures, such as face lifts or blepharoplasty. If you’d like to see the combined results, take a look at our brow lift before and after pictures.
What Type of Post-Operative Brow Lift Care Can I Expect?
The most common side effects following brow lift surgery include swelling and bruising. You may even develop black eyes temporarily, so don’t be alarmed if that happens. To help reduce swelling, it’s important to keep your head elevated and use cold compresses.
Bandages will be removed within one to three days, and sutures will either dissolve on their own or be removed within seven to 10 days. You should avoid strenuous activity for the first several weeks, but you’ll be able to resume normal activities within two weeks.
What are Brow Lift Costs?

It is a highly individual procedure, so it’s best that you discuss your specific goals with the doctor before she can accurately assess your price estimate. Real Patient Reviews
"I would highly recommend Dr. Nia Banks. She and her office staff are professional, yet caring about your fears and concerns. I am a 19 survivor of breast cancer. I have had two unsuccessful reconstructive surgeries and had come to the conclusion that there was no hope for me until I was referred to Dr. Banks by my primary care physician. Well, I had the surgery and I am so freaking proud of my breasts now. Dr. Banks did an amazing job and has made me feel like a woman again. I would recommend Dr. Banks for anyone needing plastic surgery!"
